Either Isabelle has a minor case of schizophrenia or her imagination is in full throttle as an orange, spotted dinosaur shared sips of milk and pasta with us the other night. She had me inspecting the ceiling when she had reported spiders there and also I had to be quiet while "worms were sleeping on the floor" during dinner.

Baby anatomy 101. Allie loves to look for her belly button and is surprised every time that she finds it there.

Isabelle having an "Amerikaner" for dessert. There are also Berliners and Canandiers available to eat. The Amerikaner is a huge, cake like pastry that is excessively caloric and always has half chocolate and half white icing. Is this a subliminal message about Americans?

Allie loves to eat all kinds of fruit from kiwi to blueberries.

Allie making a face. Even though she needs a mommy translator, I swear she is saying a few words like baa (ball), baba (baby), bup (up), op (stop), beh (belle)...okay...maybe she isn't but she is is getting there! Today I was trying to get her to say "Tschuess" (which is "bye" in German) and she waved. So, perhaps next week we can manage a German word.
