Once upon a time...

I got these amazing crowns from "if the crown fits".  They are made of lace.  The girls and I just love them and I big fat puffy heart love how they photograph!  I plan to do a fun photo shoot with the girls with *hopes* of getting one with all 3 girls at the same time wearing their beautiful crowns and fluffy dresses (from Easter 2 years ago!)  And I plan to make that picture into a huge canvas so I can look at it every day and count my blessings...1, 2, 3.  

Uncle Dustin and Kendall came to town

 We had a great time at the zoo...watching the sea lions,

 feeding some giraffes,

 watching the newest baby elephant,

 and having fun on the carousel rides!

 On Sunday....we went to the Children's museum,

 loved the amazing mirrors,

 Uncle Dustin had a tea party with Kendall,

 and the girls took a ride at the Hot Wheels exhibit,

and everyone was all smiles!

August 21st, Juliette's first day in the 2's

 Thank goodness she can't read...no point in starting back to school drama!

 Those big big brown eyes help her out of trouble!  ;)  Isabelle makes her look up and then she gushes over how adorable Juliette looks when her eyes are wide open.

 So, I took some pictures when I picked her up!  I think she is happy to see me!  Her teacher looks happy to see me too.  Can't say I blame her.

Not so bad for a 1st day!  Love that smile at the end....

Juliette had a great first day at school.  She is going twice a week with Mrs. Helen and Mrs. Tina.  She had many tears at drop off but was all smiles when I picked her up!  Yay!!!

1st homework

Allie came home from school on the 2nd day, and she exclaimed, "It's just terrible!  No homework again!".  To her utmost delight, she was assigned homework to be completed next week...her "It's all about me tee".  Love it!  This girl likes to color.  The one thing that she really "likes to do at school is be in the cafeteria"!  So funny.

1st day of school, August 15th

 Isabelle was so nervous and apprehensive about starting her 1st day!  She even broke down in tears before she left saying that she would miss me so much!  Awwww!

 Allie couldn't wait to go.  She was dressed and at the breakfast table by 7:15.

 She was so confident and brave her first day.  This is also the first year for full day kindergarten at Zionsville.

 This is where I was overcome with emotion.  Not even with a side-ways glance, Allie followed her class into the school.  :,(  She is such a big girl now!!!

We walk or drive to school and they take the bus home.  The girls talked non-stop for about an hour about their day!  Isabelle just LOVES her class and her teacher.  She said that "science" was her favorite thing today.  Allie had a GREAT first day and said that "lunch" was her favorite part!  :)
