Snow angels

Throwing a snowball at me!

Sledding

We had a very green and rainy Christmas but finally had some snow on Sunday! We had almost 4 inches and the girls had a great time sledding.

The girls love their Uncle Shawn.

Having fun with Daddy!

Isabelle's Christmas gift to us that she made in preschool. Isn't it cute?

Opening gifts on Christmas day...

Time to open presents!

Santa Claus came last night!!!

Santa spoiled us this year...

The girls in front of the tree on Christmas eve.

Making Christmas cookies

or any type of treats is a huge mess and loads of fun in our house!

Neurosurgery holiday party

With Mrs. Claus painting faces, a balloon making elf, chocolate fountain and live music, what is there not to love about the holiday party? Both of the girls loved the face painting, Isabelle choosing the Santa cat and Allie being a snowflake princess.

Trader's Point and IUPUI night at the Children's Museum

The girls and the Guffeys on top of a hay bale at the Trader's Point Creamery in the cow barn.

A hay rack ride through the fields.

The girls were able to feed live reindeer.

We met our friends at Trader's Point Creamery for breakfast, a visit to Santa, reindeer, and some folksy Christmas tunes 2 weeks ago Saturday.

The girls actually sat on Santa's lap without hesitation this year. Isabelle asked for a kitty dress and Allie asked for a necklace...and earrings...and make-up...and bracelets...and...

We have made it an annual event to join our friends, for a family/friend IUPUI night at the Children's Museum. They close off the museum to the public and have dinner and dessert. We always have so much fun.

And some news...

We are so blessed to announce that Baby Miller #3 is due on July 2nd! We saw him/her on ultrasound yesterday and what a joy it is to see that beautiful heartbeat and the limbs moving! We will continue to keep everyone updated on the progress.

We are deeply saddened to lose Jamie's mother last week suddenly. She had been fighting a courageous battle with breast cancer for over a year and half. We were all coming to celebrate Thanksgiving when we received the phone call that she had gone to heaven. She was a wonderful, loving, generous, and sweet soul who always treated me like a daughter. We have so many great memories that we will share and pass on to our children whom she loved and adored as with all of her grandchildren, family and friends. She was such a strong woman who never complained about the chemotherapy, surgeries and endless treatments that she had gotten. We love her so much but know that one day we will see her again. She was with the man that loved her beyond comprehension and she loved him in return and he took care of her in an amazing way until the end. A love like that you don't see very often. We will miss her deeply.

Proud of their very own decorated tree in the playroom.

Helping get out the ornaments for our Christmas tree.

Iowa Vs. Northwestern

An injured Stanzi...you were so close to a perfect season Hawks!

My little sis and me

Jamie's big sis and little bro.

Poor poor poor Erwin

My friend Melissa and I couldn't stop laughing when we went upstairs and they were wheeling around Erwin in the stroller. Breck looks less then happy since he had yet to get a turn.

This cat puts up with alot. And I mean alot. From being dressed up, carried, placed in a doll stroller he tolerates much more then your average feline. Either he is rapidly using his 9 lives or in his cat-like way almost enjoys it he is truly an amazing pet.

Halloween

At preschool Isabelle and her daddy had a pumpkin carving party. Here is Isabelle before she and Jamie carved the pumpkin into a very clever cat.

The girls had a brief evening of trick-or-treating which they both just loved. Then we were invited to a friend's party where we all had a good time.
