Allie and Juju

White River State Park

Juliette

"up"

A stretch and a slight smile.

Juliette and her "nigh-nigh". She usually wakes up immediately when I come into her room, but I was able to take a quick picture before she did.

Spring has sprung

I love how her hair frames her beautiful nose and mouth in this.

Sister chat.

Blowing one of her first dandelions...

The grass is so green!!!! It is not edited!

Stunning Izzy. Glad she doesn't realize it yet. She is so naturally kind, generous, innocent and caring....with beauty like that within....makes her that much prettier on the outside.

Allie's 5th birthday party on March 17th

Opening her cards...she got so many nice gifts from her friends...a few barbies, art supplies, craft kits among other things.

Allie loves an audience! While she was blowing out her candles she made a "raspberry farting noise" by accident and then took that as a cue to make more noises while finishing the wish. That got an immediate big laugh from all her little friends! She thought this was absolutely hilarious and just giggled.

Blowing out the candles...

Ring around the rosie with little sis.

The Barbie birthday chocolate cake.

On Saturday, March 17th, Allie invited her little friends (about 18 of them) to her party at Traders Point Christian church. You can rent out their preschool rooms and they also have a giant play structure, "The park" which is inside. It was a glorious day out....sunny and in the 70s. What a fun time! The kids were all so well behaved, played great with each other and were such good listeners! We enjoyed pizza and some cake. Allie then opened such nice gifts. What a fun day! Allie was over the moon.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Allie is 5!!!!!

Allie turned 5 on March 13th! She celebrated on Monday the 12th bringing cupcakes for her friends at school and she brought home a book and crayons from her teacher wearing a birthday crown. On Tuesday (her actual birthday) we had a beautiful day at the playground with a picnic lunch and finished the day off with a chocolate sundae with a "5" candle. Saturday we had a birthday party for her at Traders Point church. So many of her little friends were there to celebrate with pizza and cake! What a week!

Allie is still such a little thing...wearing size 4 and weighs about 37 pounds. She is sweet and loving...except when she stays up too late and is tired! She loves loves loves to draw and anything art. She is quite talented and has a good eye for detail and spends hours coloring. She prefers markers! She enjoys her weekly Monart class and it is the highlight of her week. She loves to play school, spend time with her sisters, loud music and dancing, funny potty jokes, chocolate, candy and playgrounds. She likes to wear dresses but hates tights. She likes the bling, jewelry, sparkles and painting her toes and fingers. She is SOOOO looking forward to kindergarten in the fall. She enjoys pre-K and is starting to read and write. She is my little shadow during the day and I am going to miss her when she is off to school full time. She is such an absolute doll and I am so lucky to be her mommy!

The Smiths came to visit

The girls are so excited when their cousins come to visit and had such a great time when they did on March 10th and 11th. We had fun going to the playground and the Children's Museum, playing and just being together!

Izzy and Lizzy

This is so Isabelle.  I just love this picture of the two of them!

20 months

Juliette is now 20 months! She is sassy and dramatic. She loves to play with her big sisters and her favorite word is "mine". She is a snacker and will raid the cupboards for cereal, goldfish and anything chocolate. She has a compulsive wall and floor writing habit and she is bound to find the only non-washable marker in the house. She also has started to perfect the falling to the floor habit and kick her legs and cry. She seems to forget that she has 2 big sisters that already earned Oscars for their prior performances. She loves the "moooooon" and searches for it every night. She is an outdoor girl and likes to swing and the sunshine. She isn't a big into playing with toys all of the time, but likes the toy kitchen, to color, and look at books. She is an absolute joy and I just love watching Isabelle and Allie interact with her. It makes my heart sing.

The Jeep

Allie loves driving the little jeep. And if her current driving skills indicate what she is going to be like in 11 years, then I am a bit terrified. She has fun loading it up, pretending she is going to the "beach" or the "store" or the "movies". Occasionally, Juliette likes to take a spin but also is a bit unsure of Allie at the steering wheel. I can't blame her one bit! :)
