Happy Thanksgiving

This year we ventured to Solon to share Thanksgiving with 6 of my siblings and their families.  It was so much fun to see everyone.  We were able to also surprise my oldest sister who turned 50 this month with a party.  It was wonderful for the girls to play with their cousins and spend time with family.

Jamie celebrates his 40th birthday with a party

in his honor.  We had friends and his Dad help us celebrate on Saturday with a wine, cheese and appetizer party.  It was such a fun time and we are so humbled to have so many wonderful friends that are like family to us here in Indiana!

This fabulous cake was made by Confectioneiress here in Zionsville.  The cake was triple layered with fudge icing.  It had AMAZING detail and it was DELICIOUS!
I asked her to make it into a 1972 911 Porsche.  Speed yellow is one of Jamie's favorite colors for Porsche.
I know Jamie would rather have an actual 911 sitting in our driveway but it was a fun surprise!

 Our red wine tasting table.
A few of the cheeses you could sample
Chocolate made specifically for wine and salted caramels
Our dining room had some white wines to sample
Over 14 wonderful years with my sweetheart

1st snow!

On the way to school last week, our cold rain turned into huge snowflakes.  (It was 70 the day before!) Juliette and I hurried home and changed into boots and put our gloves on to enjoy the magic.  She had such a look of amazement and joy on her face.  It was so fun to witness her running around trying to catch flakes on her tongue!  The snow stopped after a hour or so and then quickly melted on the grass.  There will be more soon!

A sister is a forever friend.

I am so thankful how much love my girls have for one another.  It is truly special.  Isabelle and Allie are great playmates...they like to sleep next to each other in the same room...they squabble just like every other sibling but genuinely care about each other.  Juliette is just starting to intentionally play with her sisters and sometimes this does create such a triangle because it seems the "little" sister will favor the "big" or the "middle" sister but not at the same time.  She can really manipulate the situation at just 2 years!  Juliette really loves to color and draw like Allie and she also can't get enough of the outdoors and animals like Isabelle.  It is so wonderful to see their bond grow stronger every day!

The day after halloween Allie wanted to dress like a cowgirl again so she could ride the horse!
