Christmas at the Zoo

CHRISTMAS!

The girls must have been extra good this year to wake up to such amazing gifts under the tree!!!

Allie got her art set complete with watercolors, pastels, brushes, paper and pencils.
Isabelle got an iPod and thank goodness Santa didn't forget a case for it!
Allie is organizing her art supplies.
Maisy is so loved by her human sisters!!!
Juliette was thrilled to find a 911 under the tree for her!  She was super annoyed when she realized that the Porsche didn't have any "juice" and had to wait all day for it to charge.
 Posing with their jammies on!

Time to open up presents!  The girls were so patient and took turns opening and gave thanks after each one!
 A beautiful ornament.
Time to put together all the Legos!
And somebody lost her front tooth on Christmas!  The tooth fairy and Santa on the same day!!!!
 Simply adorable!!!
Does your Christmas morning look like this??  A complete chaotic mess??  Quiet concentration and jumping wildness in the same frame?
Can you beat a fresh box of crayons as a gift when you're a kid?
 Allie doing what she loves!
Juliette lays under the Christmas tree often, finding the cat and kitten underneath.
Her Porsche is finally charged and ready for a spin in the basement!!!

Wishing you and yours an amazing holiday season!!!

{This is Our Life} 51.52 {Wild Card}

This is our life the week before Christmas trying to soak in the holiday spirit and take advantage of a few wonderful events around the city!  This Christmas truly came so quickly and did not disappoint!

Making (licking or eating) Christmas treats...
 We need more sprinkles!
I think I am still cleaning up Christmas sprinkles...

Last weekend, we went to the Yuletide celebration at Hilbert theatre with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.  We love supporting the local arts and enjoy this yearly tradition!

After Juliette spied the Grinch, she wouldn't approach Rudolph!

They have a beautiful tree in the lobby which is a perfect backdrop to some family photos!

This giant nutcracker sprang to life after coming near!

On Sunday we went to the Scottish Rite Cathedral to see the Nutcracker!  The girl's friend was a mouse in this production.  Allie was on the edge of her seat the entire performance and the girls absolutely loved watching the ballet!

It is time to make some more Christmas treats...this is one of the girls' favorite...chocolate covered pretzels!

Christmas Eve...
We attended the Christmas Eve Children's service at our church and then spent the evening with our good friends!  Uncle Shawn came to spend the holiday with us!

They got to open one gift on Christmas Eve...jammies!  :)
Santa came!
