Halloween

Halloween with a self made "bejeweled" costume and a matching dog collar for Eve.  She had a great time trick-or-treating with friends! Allie went to a party that night as red riding hood. Isabelle had a few princess costumes for her outings in college!

Harvest Nights-Art or Treat and pumpkin carving

One of our favorite trails in the fall--at Turkey Foot.  We are loving this warm and sunny autumn!

The three of us went to Art or Treat at Newfields.  We got a back and got little art projects like a tiny pumpkin and crayons and origami in addition to treats like candy or pretzels at stations while we walked through the harvest nights exhibit.  There is always something new to see there and we just enjoy this tradition.

Halloween snuck up on us and we carved our pumpkins in the knick of time.  Isabelle wasn't here but Allie carved her a "I love Isabelle" pumpkin to display with ours.

10.20.2023 LA

While Dad was at the meeting, we did a little shopping and lounging by the pool.  It wasn't the best area to go out and sightsee on foot so we just relaxed.  We had a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant nearby and had an early night so we can make a morning flight!

We missed Isabelle tons on this trip!  It just isn't the same when we travel without her and our adventures are surely lacking when we don't have her with us. We are grateful for any and all opportunities to see more of this fantastic country.

10.19.2023 Disneyland

Good-bye San Diego

Hello, Disneyland

We got there around noon and decided to just do the one park because the other was closed around 6 for a party.  This is the first time in Disneyland and if anyone knows me...they know that Disney is not my favorite. :) I am glad to experience it though and see the harvest decor.  The girls were super excited and glad they got to be here.

The Star Wars ride was fun and Jamie is a huge fan.

We couldn't stay long as we needed to head to Los Angeles so Dad could go to his meeting and do his presentation.  We waited a LONG time for thunder mountain and it was a great and fun ending to an exhausting day! Juliette conquered her fear of roller coasters and was super sad that we had to leave.
