350.365 {2017}

 Even with a dusting of the snow, the kids were so excited to see it.  They spent a lot of time outside this morning playing!

It's our annual cookie decorating day!  Jamie brought the dough and then rolled it out to make cutout cookies that we decorated in the afternoon!  They were delicious!

Another tradition is attending the IUPUI holiday night and enjoying Jolly Days at night!

 The crew and Santa

 Isabelle asking for a phone case...

 Allie telling Santa she wants ingredients for Slime...
 Juliette says she wants Shopkins Bubble set...
 Isabelle was quite surprised when Santa got up and asked for this picture...I think without the hat, Isabelle is about as tall as Santa!
 "ice skating" in socks
 Braedy giving the reindeer a brush
 Jamie becomes a human cannonball

 Hayley is so strong at the Circus exhibit
 Juliette loves the trapeze rings.

 Stunts galore

344.365 {2017} Yuletide

Part of what makes the holiday so special is doing traditions around the city that we have come to love!  For years we have attended the Indianapolis Symphony and the Yuletide Celebration at the Hilbert Theater.  It is always so good and gets us in the Christmas spirit!

 Obligatory photo in front of the giant lobby Christmas tree.

 We met our friends, the Sofianos and the Smuckers after the concert at Rock Bottom to have an early dinner.
 After we walked to the circle and saw the lighted "tree".  It was a beautiful and warm night for December.

 The girls got to meet and pet "Holiday" the reindeer.

Isabelle all dolled up and ready for her first school dance at the Boys and Girls Club!  It was a 7th and 8th grade event.  Isabelle went with friends and had a good time dancing and playing games.

330.365 {2017}

We had the tree up before Thanksgiving knowing we would want to do some decorating after our time in Iowa.  The girls were SO excited to get the ornaments out and start getting ready for Christmas.  I love their comments of remembering certain ornaments or their hurried placement so they can unwrap the next one.  It is a joy to see Christmas and the holiday season through the eyes of children.
