My lovable and spirited Allie. She is a pusher,a shover, and her favorite word is "No". She is a tad melo-dramatic, is obsessed with her mama, and loves attention. Right now she is all about harassing the cat, but likes to draw, and read books.

Isabelle is my sweet and caring soul. She loves playdates, pretending, and her favorite word is "What?". She never had a case of the "Why's", but likes to preface her sentences with "What". For example, "What does this do", "What is he doing", "What's his name?". Right now she enjoys playing with Schleich animals, feeding her goldfish, and singing songs.

Another birthday party...

was held on Saturday for one of their little friends. It was a gymnastics party and they had such a good time. Allie was very distraught at times not being allowed to do what she wanted to do when she wanted to do it and having to wait her turn. Isabelle was very sad to leave such a fun place.

Happy 36th birthday Daddy!

The girls couldn't wait to share the chocolate cake with Daddy!

GO COLTS!

Indy 33- Houston 27

Jamie and I had an excellent time rooting for the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday!

My girls...

On Mondays...

Isabelle and Allie continue swimming lessons at the Y. Isabelle absolutely loves the water and just has a grin from ear to ear the whole lesson. She is doing well learning strokes and swimming independently with her "bubble belt". Allie is in a class at the same time with me. Some weeks she almost enjoys herself, and others she intermittenly cries when she doesn't want to do something new. She does like the songs and playing with the rubber ducks and absolutely does not like the water when it is cold or getting out (in the cold) to jump in. Can't blame her there.

We are mourning the loss of our warm, fall days as gray, stormy skies and cold weather has befallen Indianapolis. The girls enjoyed a final romp in the leaves outside in short sleeves. Among the numerous totes and boxes in "storage" (the basement), I found winter jackets, hats and mittens. Yeah for me! If you have seen the basement, you would understand my excitement in finding something.

Dress up

My little fashionista.

Isabelle is not into the "Disney princess" thing, but loves to play dress-up. Lately, she has been changing her clothes multiple times a day and wanting to stop my 3-load-a-laundry-day from just Isabelle, I purchased some clearance Halloween costumes. I figured with 2 girls they would be obsessed with frills, Polly Pockets, and Barbies but at the present time would rather play outside, read books or play with stuffed animals. Don't get me wrong...Isabelle loves the jewels, high heels, and skirts.

Allie loves bracelets and necklaces too.

Halloween eve...

Daddy gets really excited to show off his knife wielding skills...even on a pumpkin.

An Isabelle original!

I haven't heard Allie in awhile, has anyone seen her?

There she is dancing on the coffee table.

Halloween

Isabelle was very excited at the prospect of getting candy...but it took her a few houses to get the whole trick or treating concept down. You tell your toddler never to talk to strangers...and to never ever accept treats from them...but on Halloween it is encouraged. This is her first "official" trick or treat experience and alot of fun.

Allie made it to the first house and had a fit until I opened her Kit-Kat. The next house she got a big package of M&Ms and REALLY threw a fit (kicking, screaming on her back in the front lawn) until I opened that one as well. I put her in the stroller to finish out the trick-or-treating where she also nearly polished off her favorite chocolate treat. So, Allie managed to get 2 pieces of candy...but that did leave her quite content.
