10.31.2019 Halloween

These girls sure had fun in their annual Halloween photo shoot.  It was hilarious and had some moments of taking things a little too far!

Halloween night was frigid, windy and a mix of icy snow and rain.  Such fun!  Not!
Juliette went trick or treating with friends and had fun at her party.  Allie braved the neighborhood across the street with very resilient friends who had fun getting ready together.  Isabelle joined a few of her friends too.  They all came home with loads of candy!

10.26.2019

Our neighbors invited us to join them to see Northwestern play Iowa in Evanston this weekend.  We spent the night in Chicago and went out to eat at a delicious restaurant that is also a speak-easy called .  The Hawkeyes won and our friends showed us around the campus and even got to see his fraternity too.  It was a fun and rainy weekend!

10.20.2019

Fall has literally snuck upon us and we haven't done all of our usual activities around the area.  We did get pumpkins from our church pumpkin sale and the girls got to pick out their perfect ones to carve!  We have had some really beautiful fall weather too.

10.18.2019 Back to Sedona

Since our flight home left in the afternoon, we wanted to stay somewhere half-way from Page and Phoenix and since we loved our time in Sedona we decided to have one more night here.  We did a morning hike at Bell Rock and stopped by the grocery store for donuts to enjoy at the trailhead.  Sunny every day!

We had a hard time leaving this beautiful area.  We stayed on the outskirts of the main town which was really busy with a lot of traffic.  We loved finding trails to explore and the sun in our face.  We felt the energy!  :)  The red rocks are truly a gorgeous sight.

We were all really impressed with Arizona and were amazed by its diverse landscape...from the Saguaro forests to the deserts of Page, to the vast crevasse and rock layers of the Grand Canyon and hidden wonders of the Red Rock Canyons and trails.  October was a perfect time to visit with less crowds, 80 degree days and less chance of rain and flash flooding.  We hope to visit again one day!
