Its never enough time to spend with family that live far away!  We were able to squeeze in an over-nighter with Aunt Kriston, Uncle Kevin and family and see Great Grandma too. She beat us in a game of Aggravation...surprise surprise.  :)

My dad's siblings all came together to have an extended day after Thanksgiving get together.  It was great to see cousins, aunt and uncles that we haven't seen in years, meet new ones and also just enjoy talking to one another and catching up.

We were able to get us all in a picture too!!!!  I consider that a major and wonderful feat!!!!

We went back to Iowa for Thanksgiving and joined my 7 siblings and most of their families for the holiday!!!  What a fun and joyous time to have everyone together...such a gift to see them all in one place at one time!  The kids had a great time with their cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents too.

Addressing our annual Christmas cards went a lot faster in an assembly line fashion using my little elves who were more then eager to help!  Getting Christmas cards in the mail is often a favorite part of the season!

I took the girls to get their hair-cut tonight and both Isabelle and Juliette got their hair cut to their shoulders!  What a difference.  They both love the length although admittedly I got a bit misty eyed when Juliette decided to take 9 inches off her hair!  The result is that it is easier to comb and it is adorable!

We were forecasted to get a mix of snow and rain and the girls were beyond excited to see the first flakes fall.
We were far enough north to get more snow then we expected.  We ended up getting 3-4 inches that afternoon.  The flakes were among some of the biggest I have seen.  It was a gorgeous snow and as the temperatures gradually fell we quickly got accumulation.

I found the snow gear and I put on many mittens and adjusted jackets that day.  The girls had so much fun playing in the snow!

Eve LOVES the snow...she pranced and ran through the yard, gobbling up the snow and licking it up everywhere.

In just a few hours we had enough to build a few snowmen too.
