Daddy has some big shoes to fill!

We just had a big celebration weekend including Allie's baptism on Sunday the 24th. The Jurasek family, Grandma and Grandpa Miller, Grandma and Grandpa Koss and Uncle Shawn came from Iowa to attend the baptism and Jamie's graduation from residency. Jamie had his graduation dinner on Friday and we had a family party at a local German restaurant on Saturday night. We have been busy packing and organizing as we plan on spending a week in Iowa before we fly to Tuebingen on July 3rd. We all had such a great weekend with the family and will miss everyone next year!

We had some visitors all the way from Tulsa...we had so much fun with our Uncle Brian, Aunt Linda, Aunt Janet and our cousins, Danielle and Jill.

Isabelle and Alexandria are such blessings! Isabelle loves her little sister...and Allie loves to watch her. We hope they will grow up to be close and the best of friends. They will be sharing a room in Germany, so if anyone has any advice on how to accomplish this...let us know!
.
Allie will be 3 months old soon and loves to socialize. She is very laid back but has a quick temper and will let you know she is upset right away! She loves to be held, watching her sister and colorful toys. She will now watch you across the room and likes to observe her sister's antics. I am sure she is learning alot of bad habits already! She is very vocal and she has such sweet smiles. We decided to get her in more of a routine when we move, but she is getting more regular with napping and will sleep for a 5 hour stretch at night.

Isabelle is growing up! She loves to watch her "movies"--basically Baby Einstein and anything that involves Elmo. She loves the zoo, swimming and walking/running anywhere aimlessly outside, but loves to go to the park. She is really starting to talk alot...and we are able to understand more. She still has major conversations that are in her own language! She likes to play with her dollies that have snap-on clothes, singing the ABC song and Old MacDonald, and looking at books. She can tell you her colors and count to 15. We plan on putting her in a preschool or a daycare for a few days a week in Germany. It is so hard to believe that she is 2!
We just got back from a "working" vacation in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Okay, Jamie was working and the girls and I were vacationing. Jamie had conferences in the morning and banquets at night, but had the afternoons free. The resort had a large waterpark...Isabelle's dream place, and had alot of activities for children. It was right on Lake Michigan and had a bike/walking trail which is in this picture. The weather was cloudy, foggy and cool but it was nice to look out of your window and see the lake.
Isabelle is enjoying the beach and watching the gulls.

Allie just chillin' in our hotel room.
Having fun in the pool with daddy! I love to kick and splash in the water! I also enjoy dunking the head of whoever is holding me! :)
Isabelle is fearless in the water. She loved these slides and had so much fun in the sprinklers and jumping off the edge of the pool. She doesn't mind going under, (which she did practically every time going down the slide), and exclaimed, "MORE"every time after coming up for air.

This is Allie's first time in the swimming pool. She loves her baths, so I wasn't surprised that she enjoyed the pool, even though the water was much cooler than the tub. Isabelle was really excited that Allie decided to come out for a swim.
