Christmas EVE

On Christmas Eve we went to the 3:00 family service at our church in Indianapolis, St. Luke's.  Instead of candles, they handed out multi-colored finger flashlights which made singing "Silent Night" very special in the dark!  It was a great service which always helps our children focus on the fact that JESUS is the reason for Christmas!  They had the nativity scene and a "baby" Jesus, Mary and Joseph that the children were able to surround during a "circle time" at the front.  After church we went home and the girls got to open their Christmas Eve gift (jammies) and we went to our friends, the Sofianos for dinner and games.  A great and fun evening!  Of course we rushed home to put our cookies and milk out for Santa.

Busted

Yes, I assumed most if not all ornaments off the tree were due to three girls...namely a rambunctious 2 year old.  Yes, I blamed the 2 broken ornaments on them.  Yes, I glued them back together only to find another one with a head broken off.  Then....I caught her at it again.  On the naughty list for sure.

Boys and Girls Club of Zionsville basketball

 the trophy her team received...
Isabelle had an absolute blast playing basketball this fall and made her first shot in a game during the last one!  She was so happy!  She really improved on many skills and learned a lot about the game and most importantly enjoyed it!  Her BFF was on the team along with 1 other girl and 7 boys.  They are 1st and 2nd graders and many of these kiddos have some major skill for their age!!!  I guess we are in midst of Hoosier basketball country here!  Their team was the Buckeyes although her cheerleader sister Juliette would scream, "go hawkeyes" when she wasn't obsessing over the ipad.  Proud of my big girl!
