Time for their spring piano recital!  Allie played from memory and did a fast and fun piece.  Isabelle also played beautifully!  So proud of the girls and how much they have improved in 2 years at the piano.

Lazy Saturday mornings...when I saw them all with their heads together it reminded me of a picture of when Juliette was just a baby and I knew I needed to recreate it.  There is something about doing a photo over and over again...same place...same people...same pose that I just love.  I love to see the connection, the change that time forces on all of us.

The afternoon sunshine and being out of school and having me all to herself makes a happy Juliette.  She loves to play outside and especially on the swing set too.

Since the recital ended for Allie, the girls have come up with their own performances ranging from jazz, modern dance, ballet and tap.  They choreographed and did their own costumes too.  Their dance floor is in the kitchen so I get to sit in the living room and be their captive audience.  :)
Our kousa dogwood had more blooms on it then ever this year.  The sunlight filtering through the flowers made for such a pretty picture.

Eve is spending more time on the first floor since our construction is mostly over.  She finds herself in all sorts of mischief though and the girls rush to pick up their things on the floor or they become one big chew toy.

The second day of the recital brought another full schedule of dancing and performing...not like she minded it one bit!  I was able to volunteer back stage and it was fun to see all the excitement of the girls and boys performing.

She was a traffic cop for the "safety Dance" tap routine
 getting make-up...
Happy Allie at the end of the day.

Obligatory by the front door pictures.

I wanted you to give me a face with how you felt it being the last day of school...you gave me a super sad one.

 A picture for me.
Every day after school, your friends and you would meet at the fire hydrant to chase and play with each other some more.
This school year has literally flown by!!!  I just cannot believe it is already your last day of pre-K!  You began as a timid, shy little girl and have gained so much confidence, made friends and learned so much.

Toy Shoppe
 Safety dance
Allie at the recital rehearsal performing her ballet and tap routine.  She loves loves LOVES to dance and is graceful and coordinated...two things I am not.  :)  The theme of the recital was New York City and was a lot of fun to watch.

Singing songs along with the pre-K classes.  I am glad that they were happy and joyous songs or this momma might not have held it together!
Receiving her medal from Mrs. Leah
 and a hug...
and her diploma and a hug from Mrs. Jill.  She was also Allie's pre-K teacher.

Juliette had such a great year and we are so thankful for the wonderful teachers that taught with such patience, grace and energy.  We will also leave behind a sweet group of kiddos that will all be going different directions.
