Allie had her 2 month checkup today. She weighed 9 lbs 12 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. She has been giving me some random social smiles which makes up for all of the long and crazy nights. I have to really work for those smiles though! She still loves to be snuggled and held. She didn't appreciate the vaccines and howled for a good hour after. Isabelle watched the whole process and cried after Allie was done getting her shots and gave her a kiss on the foot. What a good big sis!

Allie seems to know exactly how I feel about our short-term apartment.

Our first home held so many special memories for us...a new city, a new marriage, a never-ending residency, 2 jobs for Jody, 2 beautiful daughters, 1 loud meowing feline, and many family members and friends that came to visit. As we are saddened that we are moving (it becomes official on Thursday), we are looking forward to the new adventures and the memories to come. For those of you that wanted to come to Indy and didn't, rest assured...as we will be returning in 2008. The past 7 years has been challenging and very rewarding.
