10.31.2018

The girls went in 3 different directions this Halloween and I seemed to be blindsided and not go in any direction at all!

Our decorated pumpkins from the night before!

Allie dressed up with a few of her buddies as Pooh and Friends and woodland creatures.
Juliette went on a scavenger hunt with a few of her friends.
Isabelle isn't too old and certainly can't say no to candy and found a friend to go trick or treating with in her neighborhood and dressed up as the Pink Ladies!

10.29.2018

We were forecasted loads of rain on Halloween and so I had to have a few pictures just in case!  The girls totally humored me by dressing up as a theme with their farmer sister!  They also were being so silly getting in character!

Russell the warlock!  He is seriously the sweetest little bunny!!!!

10.20.2018 Fort Mountain State Park

It was a chilly night and started to rain!  We thankfully stayed dry under the tent but it wasn't very fun disassembling our campsite in the weather...thankfully Isabelle and Jamie had a lot of practice doing it quickly.
Our tent was so roomy that we brought our table and Keurig (not roughing it too much as you can see) in the tent for a drier breakfast.  I had gotten a few bags of donuts the day before so we didn't have to cook for breakfast.  Hot coffee is a must!

We were happy to see a break in the heavy rain and took a short hike to see the famous stone "fort" that the park is known for.  It was a foggy and a surreal hike through the forest.

The rock wall is 885 feet long and located on the peak.  The ruins are thought to have been built by the Native Americans that were local in this area around 500 AD.  There are several legends but thought this was possibly built for religious purposes.

Driving back we stopped for an early BBQ dinner in Louisville and got to see cousin Nancy!

10.19.2018 Fort Mountain State Park, Georgia

We spent the morning with our friends and then made our way to Fort Mountain State Park.  We settled in and made dinner.  We took advantage of the sunlight we had left and took a hike to the scenic overlook.

What a beautiful vista!!!  WOW!

We timed it just right to see the last glimpse of daylight at sundown with clouds moving in.
