We were up early to watch a beautiful balloon rise over Coffee Pot from our room patio. We got coffee and enjoyed the morning sunshine. What a beautiful way to see the town of Sedona.
Cathedral Rock Trail is a favorite of many in Sedona. It was also very popular!
Being that it was very crowded it was very difficult to share the trail with people coming up and going down safely as you have to hike in some crevasses. We were rewarded amazing views even though we didn't complete the entire trail. It gets a little nerve-wracking with kids and although they were disappointed, we had plenty of fun scrambling up the rocks making the climb.

I decided that it would be a great souvenir to get family pictures done in Arizona on our fall break. The views are unforgettable and so I was excited to have our family professional photographed! Although we had a last minute outfit change by Juliette, we got there on time and of course the weather was beautiful as usual.

This was a beautiful trail and we decided that we needed to come back to hike it when we drove back towards Phoenix at the end of the trip!
