We then drove about 20 minutes to do a little hiking at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. This area is 2,000 acres of coastal state park and has a lot of beautiful hiking trails that overlook the ocean and beaches.
I almost stepped on a rattlesnake and shrieked...just another 25 feet we ran into a Zionsville family. What are the odds! They heard my scream.
The girls rented some boogie boards. The water was so cold, but they didn't care!
We found an Iowa bar nearby and had a delicious pub dinner at PB Alehouse.
