A cacao tree

You can see the cacao beans in the fruit or Pocha. Cacao beans were even used as currency way back in the Mesoamerica civilization, for example...100 beans could buy a slave.

The Schokoladen where you could buy all varieties of Ritter's Sport chocolate bars cheaper then what they sell in the stores and you could even buy very discounted bars of chocolate that aren't able to be sold...like it has too many nuts, or too much nougat.

We have been wanting to go to the Ritter's Sport factory since we discovered how delicious the chocolate is. Ritter's Sport is located in Waldenbuch where it has been since 1930. It is unusual and unique in that the chocolate bar is square. They marketed the idea (square-ness) so they could fit into a pocket without breaking. We couldn't take the factory tour (must have had some oompa loompas working illegal hours), but we could shop at the chocolate store and spend lots of Euros and see a small informative display all about chocolate. They also have a museum on premises that has squares in the art.

I am always the baby paparazzi stalking my kids with my trusty Canon. They never know when I will strike next.
