We couldn't leave Denmark without getting a Danish for breakfast! We weren't disappointed with Lagkagehuset! Great coffee and a wide array of treats! YUM!
We made it to the airport and found our terminal! The girls are such great little travelers! They know the drill.
Next stop...Stuttgart!
Our dear friends, the Klepsers picked us up in Stuttgart and brought us to Tübingen where we spent the remainder of our vacation and time in Europe.
Rosi and Helmut were ready for our arrival! They graciously let us stay in the 2nd floor flat of Rappstraße 5! It was like we never left! It was all so familiar to us.
Rosi and the girls and I helped make Maultaschen which is a traditional German Swabian dish. It is pasta dough with a minced meat, spinach, onion filling. It is delicious! Rosi sautés it with carmelized onion.
German potato salad
It was great to see our German friends who were like grandparents to our kiddos!
Rappstrasse 5 is now white instead of pink!
Tübingen is such a beautiful university city! We loved living here for a year in 2007. It was such a special time!
A glimpse of Hohentübingen.
The Rathaus and square.

Having some drinks at a cafe and soaking up the atmosphere!
Hannes and his family invited us to a BBQ and met us downtown,
with his sweet dog, Lucky.
The girls were instantly smitten.
We then met his girls, Emilie and Lilli at their house and Steffi too.
Some friends of theirs joined us for dinner that night.
Lilli, Allie and Isabelle became fast friends!
The kiddos all hanging out inside!
