Another morning waking up to this...I could really get used to this view.
We all were so excited to leave for our snorkel cruise and the girls got to explore the tide pools on the beach outside the condo.
The coral and urchins among the lava rock.
The drive to the dock for the cruise was about 20 minutes away. We took the catamaran Fair Wind II from the Keauhou Bay and the girls were all smiles cruising out to Kealakekua Bay to spend a few hours snorkeling and swimming.
On the way to the destination, we had a continental breakfast of juice, fruits, muffins and croissants.
We got there and geared up for a magical adventure in the bay. This was now our second experience snorkeling ever and we enjoyed this so much. We were close to the Captain Cook Monument and it is said that this area is some of the best snorkeling in the state!
It was truly an unforgettable and unbelievable experience. The waters so blue and fish so colorful it almost made you cry.

Allie watching Isabelle climb up the ladder after going off the water slide. Juliette went off the slide probably at least 10 times! No fear!
Some more views of the bay...
After snorkeling for a bit, we had lunch on the boat. They grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and we had pasta and chips. It was so good! We then had time to swim, snorkel or go off the high dive (Isabelle did once and she said it really hurt!). This was a fantastic morning spent on the cruise and highly recommend it!
After the cruise was over we went to Kona to get some shave ice.
This was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint!
The server recommended this one and it was amazing! It had ice cream in the middle, shave ice with papaya, mango and pineapple and a coconut, vanilla cream glaze. So ONO!

It was such a fun day and we watched the sunset outside on the beach in front of our place we were staying.
searching for sea life...
Every sunset and sunrise is so so unique and beautiful.
We fall in love with you deeper and deeper everyday, Hawaii! Such paradise!
