170.365 Musee d'Orsay and a ballet at the Opera Garnier

We stayed about 2 blocks from the Louvre and decided this morning we hadn't taken a family picture in front of it yet.

On to the Musee d'Orsay today!  We were able to get a tour in English at 11:00.  She kept it PG but artists still loved their nude subjects even in the second half of the 19th century.  By then, I think all of the girls were fairly immune to it.  The guide talked about the Impressionist movement with Renoir, Manet, Monet, Degas and the evolution of art at that time.  We also saw an amazing Van Gogh special exhibit there named, "Van Gogh, the Man Suicided by Society", written by Artaud.  The Orsay is in an old train station.

No pictures allowed in the museum.

 Outside the museum.
 A gorgeous day in Paris.

Jamie bought 2 tickets to the ballet that night and we excitedly went out for the evening while Shawn and Raegan helped with the girls.

We saw Jerome Robbins "Dances at a Gathering" and Ratmansky's "Psyche".  It was superb.
After we ate out at a restaurant by the Opera.
