This was a definite highlight of the girls to see platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station. They had a small gift shop near by that they each got to pick out a wand too! Dumbledore for Juliette, Isabelle got Ron Weasley's and Allie got Hermoine's.
France unfortunately had a major train strike while we were there and our Eurostar train from London to Rennes, France was cancelled! It was a major pain getting tickets and praying that the train would even get us to a destination a second time. But, you have to make the most of the situation. We eventually made it to Lille and decided to stay the night there and hope that we had a train to take us to Rennes the next day. Thank goodness for internet as we found a place not far from the train station by tram. The place was decent although the stairs were treacherous. We ate out that night on a lively street in Lille.
