Jamie and I took a boat excursion to see the Cristal Lagoon and Caves. We didn't realize that it was a thrill ride too as we jetted across the sea, bouncing off the waves and getting dangerously close to the water as the driver tipped the boat to turn. It was really fun though but I have to say that I was quite nervous.

Popeye Village. They had to import the wood from Austria for the movie as they don't have many trees on the island. Many famous movies have been filmed in Malta, like Midnight Express, Gladiator, and Troy.

Our second day, we took a boat tour around Malta, Comino, and saw the shore of Gozo. We stopped in the famous Blue Lagoon for lunch and were able to swim in the crystal, turquoise waters of the sea. Isabelle loved it and Allie eventually enjoyed herself too. We saw many lobsters on the beach...in the form of humans...not crustaceans. We were armed with nothing less then 50 SPf. You would think our blazing white skin would be enough protection.
