The Tuebingen Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas market) was held this weekend. There were over 400 individual "stalls" selling various crafts, soaps, jams and honey, wooden items, ornaments and more. It was quite popular as you can see from the crowds. There were also stalls with food and drink. Waffles, crepes, bratwurst, spiced nuts, and also sauerkraut fried with noodles (similar to spaezle) were available to eat and gluhwein (a hot wine served in a cup) and hot punch were a popular drink purchase.
