ST. Nikolaus came!

I've been good...this is mine.

Allie and Isabelle have been on their best behavior for Santa...and the German version, "St. Nikolaus" stopped by for a visit on the night of December 5th. Saint Nicholas' Day is celebrated in much of Europe with each country having their own tradition. In Germany, children put out a boot or sock outside the front door on December 5th to the 6th, and St. Nikolaus fills it with small gifts, nuts, candy, and fruit. Our wonderful landlords "helped" St. Nikolaus this year.
