Bear with me...I am in the process of editing...:)

My two favorite girls and I in front of the Olympic Park in Munich.

The BMW factory in the distance and the BMW museum (to be opened in 2008). You can enter the building and it is filled with BMW models and very friendly representatives to show you (and sell you) the car of your dreams.

The fam in front of the Olympic Park complex. The Olympics were held here last in 1972.

The Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). This church is 500 years old and is constructed on the grave of Ludwig IV.

This is his tomb...he died in 1348.

The New Town Hall's glockenspiel is a major attraction and plays daily at 11:00 and 1200. The Marienplatz fills with people to view the dancing characters that recreates a royal wedding from the 16th century.

"Munich has more relics than any city outside of Rome". This is the tomb of Mundita who was a second-century martyr. She even has eye-balls in!

More pictures inside St. Peter's Church.

St. Peter's Church

A look inside...

On the right side of the Marienplatz (Mary's Square) is the Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus). This was completely destroyed in WWII and rebuilt later.

Shawn in front of the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus). It was built from 1867 until 1906. This building survived the bombs of WWII and was the US military headquarters in 1945.

The U-Bahn arriving in Munich to take us to the Marienplatz.

The villages and towns were filled with holiday skiers.

The weather was beautiful...in the 20s with bright blue skies.

Say "Cheese" Grandma and Grandpa!

We stopped in a village for afternoon coffee and dessert and they had a slide and plastic motorcycle for children outside. What a view.

The Italian Dolomites certainly look different in the winter.

They are mainly composed of limestone.

Some fresh baked goods for sale. We saw many swine themed items...apparently in Germany, pigs are a symbol of good luck around Christmas.

Open air market in Bolzano, Italy

The streets...

of Bolzano.

We had a gorgeous Austrian sunset. The skies were a cotton-candy pink.

The country-side of Bavaria...seen here is a very typical style of church.

A horse drawn wagon in Bavaria.

Allie looking starry-eyed.

We took a quick trip by van through southern Germany, Austria and spent the night in Bolzano, Italy on Friday night. This picture was taken on our drive through the window. We didn't get alot of snow, but it made the trees very pretty.

Allie is trying really hard to move forward and get up on her hands and knees (but isn't to successful yet.) I know she will be EVERYWHERE when she learns to move. She can clap and wave. She loves to eat "big people" food and is getting good at feeding herself.

Even though we didn't have a white Christmas...we had a snowy day after. Isabelle had a great time playing in the snow with her grandparents and uncle.

Opening gifts...

on Christmas day.

"I like kitties".

"Waaaa...Isabelle isn't sharing!" All I wanted for Christmas was the paper...

Santa got me a soft ball, rattle, and wooden mouse toy...

and got me watercolors, paper, and a dollhouse to share with my sister.
