We spent the night near the Grand Old Opry and dined at "The Aquarium" in the mall. It was a great experience with thousands of fish, shark, eels and stingrays swam in tanks throughout the restaurant. The next day we went to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
We started in the Taylor Swift area which had a small interactive area and a few of her costumes. The girls were excited to see things of hers.
Next door we were informed to be quiet as they were shooting a commercial. Imagine our surprise when we saw Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood just feet away being filmed. It was just a couple dozen of us watching and a pretty fun experience.
This museum was impressive and full of neat exhibits, paraphernalia, and treasures. The girls had fun doing "treasure hunts" and we enjoyed looking at all of it. Country music truly was so influential and we found ourselves familiar with it even though we can't say that we are "fans".
Elvis Presley's solid gold Cadillac and piano which was a gift from Pricilla.
I love Bob Dylan and they had a great temporary exhibit on the "Nashville Cats".
We still had a 4-5 hour drive to North Carolina that day and so we finished up at the museum and walked to a recommended restaurant, "Pucketts".
Puckett's was delicious and we highly recommend it! Judging from the crowds, it was a crazy popular place. We sat outside and had fun people watching and enjoying the sunny day!
