This afternoon found you playing on the back yard swing set and even Eve climbed the stairs and joined you in the club house.
Allie, you were teaching math to your silent class. More often then not I find you here in your classroom. You were born to do this...I have no doubt.
You all have recently enjoyed skating outside together and in our basement as well. Roller skating was a favorite of mine as a child too. I would zip down a long sidewalk and then we had a huge concrete basement that I could roller-skate in as well.
School days and subsequent homework rob us of free time and play and then you factor in sports, dance and music you might as well not have any time at all to do anything else. You occasionally have those days where the tasks are light and you find each other to play. The autumn weather is teasing us with summer heat one day and needing jackets and pants the next.
