We said goodbye to our lovely cabin and ventured south toward Seward. It took about 8 hours with stops along the way.
The drive was just so pretty!
Beluga Point
We didn't see any whales but they are often spotted here as they make their way up and down the inlet.
We finally made it to Seward and it was very foggy and chilly. It is a town between the Kenai Fjords National Park waters and the Kenai mountains.
It is a seaside village with many shops, restaurants and galleries. On a less cloudy day you are able to see Mount Marathon behind the town. We walked down to the harbor before dinner.
