We celebrated Juliette's 2nd birthday with just our little family this year. We had delivery from Oobatz (grilled cheese and homemade chips for her) and then sang "happy birthday" and enjoyed some cake. She loves the birthday song and wanted me to sing it to her a lot this week at bedtime. She got some very nice gifts too, money, clothes, wooden food, bath toys and this easel. She likes to color and draw so this will be perfect for her!

She even picked out her cake this year!

Juliette was overjoyed to get some new Hello Kitty panties for her birthday from her Aunt Linda and Uncle Brian! She liked them so much, she wanted to try on every pair! At once! :) LOL She is pretty proud of her new undies, but this momma isn't going down that road in the near future!

Juliette was gifted this cute cute rain jacket and coordinating boots when she was born from our neighbors. She saw it in her closet and insisted to wear it Sunday morning!

The girls went to a birthday party this afternoon! Talk about fun! Pool party, ice cream truck, a magician, food and cake and this fabulous face painting!

I know I posted a ton of pictures here, but the blending and detail were pretty amazing!

Isabelle's 7 year checkup

went super well considering no vaccines! :) She is 59 pounds in the 80th % and 50 3/4 inches tall in the 90th %. She has been complaining on and off about some joint pain in her hip where it meets her inner thigh after hyper-extension for the past year, but has been very healthy. The doctor just wanted to keep track of when it happens and then if it progresses to see the ortho docs. Isabelle says her favorite part of summer has been going to the pool...which then Allie piped up that is one of her favorite parts too.

Monday June 18th...

Allie and Isabelle went to their pediatrician, Dr. Timmons to get their yearly check-up. Allie also got her "kindergarten" boosters.

Allie is 34 1/2 pounds which is 5th % and 40 1/2 inches tall in the 5th %. Tiny girl...big personality! So far the best thing about summer is doing her Summer Bridge workbook so she says!

Father's day weekend

Father's day weekend was spent in Moravia visiting Jamie's dad. His brother and girlfriend and also his sister and family came down on Saturday. Great Grandma Trafton also spent the night on Saturday! It was great to see everyone and I know it meant so much to his Dad too to spend time with him. Grandpa bought a little cake for Juliette and we all sang an early "happy birthday" to her.
