The not so White River

Happy Labor Day! Isabelle, Allie and I spent our morning in Holliday Park and hiked down to the river. We often bring our lunch to the park or playground. Indianapolis really has a plethora of natural areas, woods, and trails which is surprising for a mid-west urban big city. Chasing butterflies, looking for shells and mussels, and splashing around the rocks in the bright sunshine and warm air will always be such a special memory for me today.
