Juliette and I had a beautiful long weekend in Iowa. We stayed at Linda and Brian’s gorgeous property. The prairie with copious goldenrod, sunflower field, expansive blue skies and fields, deer and so so many hummingbirds was so peaceful and stunning. It certainly made me forget about things for awhile. Brian smoked some amazing ribs and pork and Linda with her delicious sides and desserts and a cookout on Sunday with family ended the weekend. It was so nice. We certainly missed our immediate family back in Indiana.
We there just in time for the pregame show to watch Hayley and the HMB! The band never disappoints and this is most likely her last year so we were so excited to see her perform.
