Malibu is derived from the Native American words Mali and wu which means where the mountains meet the sea and the name of the Chumash word, "humaliwo" which means "the surf sounds loudly".
The crashing waves kept me up at night.

It was built in the 50s but burned in a fire 30 years later.
After the short hike, we went to Malibu Grill off the pier and watched the many surfers.
That evening we went to Santa Monica Pier. We had a lot of fun and rode the ferris wheel together.
