290.365 {2017} Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods

We met them for breakfast at Village Inn before we were off to our next destination!
We drove south from Denver to Colorado Springs and visited the Garden of the Gods park.  The visitor center was informative and great at as well!  The weather was perfect!
We took the trail to the Central Garden Area where you can see a beautiful area of the park.  There were climbers you could see on some of the big red rock formations as well.

Climbers about 2/3 of the way to the top.
Here are my little climbers...

There were so many butterflies here!

You can see Pikes Peak in the distance.

All perspective but they think it is funny to take these pictures where it looks like they are to the edge and falling off!

Balanced Rock
We stayed right at the edge of the Garden of the Gods park at Glen Eyrie which had beautiful grounds to hike in as well

You can see Glen Eyrie nestled in the trees and mountains.
hike to Dawson's Grave
The views are beautiful all over this state!

So many adventures...so many travels...and I never tire of this view of all 3 girls happily hiking.
