294.366 {2016} Canyonlands National Park, Moab

We got coffee at Eklecticafe in Moab!  Great place for food and drinks!

It is about a 30 minute drive from Moab to Canyonlands National Park.
The view from the Island in the Sky visitor center at Canyonlands National Park stretches on for miles.  It is quite an amazing sight.  Every park is so unique!

The park is huge and is divided into 3 different land districts, Island in the Sky, Needles, and the Maze.  We mainly drove through the Island in the Sky and did a few short hikes.  The Needles sounds amazing and we hope to see that area some day.  If we had more time I would have loved to contact an outfitter to do a rafting trip on the river.  The Maze is remote and difficult to access.  I might leave that up to extreme adventurers!

We had a bit of time to rest and explore the grounds of the hotel.  It is so pretty here!  Juliette especially loved the swings.
We took the Dan Mick guided Jeep tour through the slick rock outside of Moab.  The trail took us on Hell's Revenge which is an aptly named trail.  It was a jarring ride!

We watched the sunset from here.  So gorgeous!
