The song, "Let's be Still" by The Head and the Heart always comes to mind when I feel like life is moving so fast. It is particularly obvious with kids but much more so with a puppy. Overnight they seem to grow (and get into more trouble along the way) and then many dog-owners say, "It gets better...just give it time". All those closets I vowed to clean out at the beginning of fall are still spilling out, my drawers are still disorganized, my office is a mess...and you know...it is all about being still. Remind myself to be in the moment. Enjoy the sunshine. Relish the moments with my girls.
