Isabelle is over half way done with her kindergarten and is doing great. She makes friends easily and is always telling me new things that she is learning at school. She continues to go to Interactive Academy where she does kindergarten enrichment, spanish and also alot of gymnastics. She LOVES that! She has started swimming lessons again and I hope that she improves enough to be on a team this spring or summer. She told me that she would like to win 3 medals. :)
A few of Isabelle's likes...macaroni and cheese, apples, lemonade and turkey and cheese sandwiches, sweets (skittles are a favorite), chocolate ice cream with chocolate magic shell coating, dresses and tights, her American Girl Doll, TV and movies, Barbies, doing crafts, reading books, her sisters, playdates
Dislikes: having TV time taken away, losing at games, lasagna and sauce on noodles, getting her hair brushed
Lizzy and Allie
Allie LOVES our kitty and carries it around everywhere. Lizzy is fairly tolerant...or else she is playing dead, hoping that they will relent.
Allie loves preschool and is all signed up for Pre-K! It is hard to believe that she will be starting kindergarten in fall of 2012. She enjoys going to chapel and music and comes home singing new songs every day.
Some likes: noodles for dinner, peanut butter (she could eat it by the spoonful), chocolate milk, and anything chocolate, playing with mommy, princesses, tinkerbell, being read to, her sisters, daddy being home from work, sparkles, doing crafts, coloring and being silly.
Dislikes: things being out of order, not having enough attention, boredom, being made to eat what is on her dinner plate, being denied a "treat" when she asks every half hour after waking up, sleeping in, being sick.
Juliette says "cheese". I don't think it is possible for her to smile any bigger!
Likes...being held, her sisters, baby food (except peaches), mummums, looking out the window, "reading" books, banging her hands on anything, bath-time and splashing, her pink fuzzy blanket
Dislikes...sleeping through the night, being jammed into her jacket and carseat, smothering sisters, being left with a babysitter, not having my full attention, tummy time, teething, haircuts

6 1/2 months
Juliette had her checkup and vaccines on Monday. We have been "sharing" the hack, cough, sniffle, spew, barf, fever, aches and pains of the winter season! So...you may not see many pictures this post....but be glad...it hasn't been pretty here in the Miller household. Thank goodness Juliette and I have been spared the brunt of it...but I know our ticket will be up soon.
Juliette has not wasted any time putting on the chub...she weighed in at 18 lbs 7 oz (90%) and was 27 1/4 in long (90%). She even took off her shoes.
Sooooo silly!
Juliette is such a character and already clamors for attention. As if nobody ever notices or dotes on her! She is so full of energy...constantly grabbing at things, banging on toys or tables, is sitting up well...until she decides to lunge backwards, squeals , and loves to hear herself babble and laugh.

Go Colts!
Santa hats
My job as a mommy photographer has exponentially gotten harder with 3 kids! Juliette actually IGNORES me! Can you believe it???? 6 months...and already tunes me out! My fake sneezes, laughing like a lunatic, and dancing around like an escaped mental patient does nothing to elicit a smile...or even to turn her head.

Christmas EVE
Juliette is READY for bed!
Opening a gift on Christmas Eve...and they got matching jammies!
Milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer!
We made it to church for the 5 pm Christmas Eve service and barely got there in time for a seat! Juliette also made it clear that she is getting to be a bit rowdy for church and may have to start spending some time in the nursery. For holidays, we do like to have the girls all sit with us for church but Isabelle and Allie do like to attend Sunday school when they can. Allie was begging to get dressed up all day...she was so anxious for Christmas and knew that after she could open 1 present. I have to say that they have been so patient and were very good this season (except for a major random outburst at Target weeks before). I could tell however that Allie was starting to "crack" a bit...she was trying very very hard to be on her best behavior. We have the "Elf on the Shelf" and that visit definitely made an improvement on their actions.
This year was such a magical one for the girls. It was so exciting for me to view the holiday season through their eyes....the innocence and wonderment and belief! I loved the squeals that would come from the backseat when they would see Christmas decorations through the window, the many off-key renditions of "Rudoloph", "Frosty", and "Jingle Bells". I love seeing them examine the ornaments everyday and play with the nativity set...and even the arguments that ensued over who got Baby Jesus. It was a time to reflect on how fortunate we are to have our health, our family, and a roof over our heads and food to eat. We tried to focus on what we are blessed with, instead of what they "wanted" or "didn't have". We had a very white Christmas and it was our immediate family that celebrated right here at home in Zionsville! Santa was very good to the girls and they had alot of presents under the tree to unwrap. Isabelle said her favorite present was her family...(I think she thought that Santa was still listening), but really liked her new American Girl doll, Rebecca and her digital camera. Allie's favorite was a Crayola art set and Rapunzel doll. She also really likes her Tinkerbell playset and digital kids camera. Juliette's favorite was wrapping paper and a touch and feel farm book.
