Molokini Crater
It is a volcanic crater (a remnant of an extinct volcano) and islet off the coast of Maui and is known for amazing snorkeling and scuba diving. It has a variety and abundance of marine life and colorful tropical fish. It has over 250 species of fish, reef sharks, moray eels, octopus and manta rays and as it is humpback whale season...you might spot some here.
We also took a trip to "turtle town" which is a stretch of coastline in South Maui. It has a high population of green sea turtles (honu). There was even a turtle that swam around Cassie and between Emma's legs while snorkeling! Amazing. These fantastic pics are from Chris' go-pro. He got some fantastic footage.
This was such a great experience.
They had a great lunch for us on our way back. It was a great morning!
They kept telling us to keep from going past the edge of the reef. It was certainly a "Nemo" moment when he swims to the "drop off".

Humpback sightings on our way back to shore.
Time for our Christmas Day LUAU!
They have a stretch of hotels along Wailea beach including the infamous 4 seasons (White Lotus). It is really beautiful here.
We did the Marriott Luau and it was so well done with amazing dancers, musicians and food.
