I love this tradition of the teachers waving on the last day of school!

Comparing the first and last days of 8th and 11th grade!  I think they both have changed so much!

Excited to be done with middle school!

They made it to the finish line!  Hip hip hooray!  They are both looking forward to a break and summer fun.   

 

Emily is a graduate!  We had a fabulous time celebrating her at her party and seeing a lot of family too!!! We cherish these times we can be together.

To lose a pet is the hardest good-bye.  We had to say our final farewell to sweet Lizzy Lou, age 13 and 10 months.  She was a sweet girl who was very loved in our family and showed love in return on her own terms as cats often do.  She tolerated Eve, visited bedrooms at night for biscuits and snuggles with me when I was not feeling myself.  I truly appreciate her coming to my lap during some rough times.  She always was up for a cuddle when taking a couch nap and spooned me at night.  She was found by a dumpster on Purdue's campus and I have to think she found a pretty nice life with growing up with 3 very affectionate girls.

Finale

 

It is the end of another successful ZSI season!  We love Finale where they learn a few new numbers, talented kids showcase songs and talents, both groups perform their fall set and their competition show for the last time.  We have gone to Finale since the girls were little and now we have our own Choralaire to watch is super special.  Aunt Susan and Uncle Ron came to support and watch as well.  They were very impressed!
