Family pictures are so very important to me. It is a time where we certainly have our smiling faces and best dressed selves turned toward the photographer. We are smiling deeply too for we know what a gift it is to hold each other close, hands held on a beautiful Indiana evening. Life certainly throws curve balls, more often than not, and how we respond paves the way of future selves. One foot in front of the other we live our best life the way we know how. No matter how perfect we want our life to be....without anxiety, without illness, without strife...it just isn't. What we can control in life is where we put our attention, on kindness, love, family, friends...simply being a good human being. I read that, "every version of our self wrote the self we are today". We have much to be grateful for in this life, make it count. Make the most of your opportunities and the beautiful life you have been given.
