Since March, we have literally cancelled all vacation plans due to COVID-19 and our schedule. We were so excited to get out of Indiana for a week while being mindful of masking and social distancing. We had not seen Grandpa Miller since Thanksgiving and we anxious to see him and spend some quality time with him too. It turned out to be a gorgeous, warm fall weekend in Iowa! We visited Lake Rathbun, hung out with Grandpa and enjoyed time together.

Grandpa had fun with the finger trick and also showing the girls how to solve a puzzle of getting the ring off the horseshoes.
The first motel we stayed at reminded the girls of their favorite show, Schitt's creek.
The second night we stayed at a cottage at Honey Creek Resort. I made dinner and dessert there. It was a great place with wonderful outdoor amenities and a waterpark too.
