2.19.2018

We are hosting a foreign exchange student from Courcouronnes, France.  It is a suburb of Paris.  Yesterday we picked up Lilou from O'Hare and will take her to Zionsville where she will go to school with Isabelle and do various field trips around the area during the 2 weeks she will be here.

Welcome Lilou!

She was up early and so Isabelle, Lilou and I walked around Millennium Park before the relentless rain began in Chicago.

We had intentions on going to the top of Willis tower last night but it was a 4 hour wait!  What!?

Unfortunately we only had this miserable rainy (and no visibility) day to see the 2nd tallest skyscraper in North America.

With hardly any lines and a slow elevator we made it to the top which the girls thought was a great experience regardless!  They loved the plexiglass viewing area!  We were so lucky and had a brief minute break in the clouds so we could see a misty view on top!

After a visit to Dylan's candy bar and walking down Michigan Avenue we ventured back to Indianapolis.
