Her first ride on a yellow school bus! She sat so quietly and stared out the window on our 45 minute ride to Fishers.
We stepped back into the pioneer age and listened to the book version at the Conner Prairie farm and then saw the Innkeepers wife make her own. She said that the gingerbread boy ran off and so the kids all went and asked the animals if they had seen him. 
We found the Gingerbread boy inside and had a little dance party and they decorated cookies too.
Conner Prairie had gingerbread houses on display and so we could see the decorations and detail.
I was so excited to accompany Juliette and her kindergarten class on an adorable field trip to Conner Prairie. They have been working on the story, "The Gingerbread Man" at school.
