The night of the lunar eclipse and blood moon was so magical to see. Unfortunately we had such cloudy conditions that we got only glimpses here and there and I had the tripod out to capture what we could. Around 11:30 pm the clouds parted and we got a full view of the red moon. So amazing. We tried to wake you girls for a peek but you were all sound asleep.
The day that we took a walk at Turkey Foot. We are surrounded by so many great trails, woods and parks in our town and we love to seek it out especially on gorgeous afternoons like this one. We are seeing a hint of fall appear in the fallen leaves. Eve loves to ride in the car and take walks with us.
The day you received your 3rd grade bible. You were very excited to finally get your own copy and Juliette has been enjoying the scripture you have been reading.
The day that was college "go-week". You make us proud supporting the Hawkeyes in a state that has many fine college teams to root for! Well..a little brainwashing always helps too.
It was a beautiful day that we met our friends for our annual apple picking. Our lives have gotten so busy with all the kids in school, activities and work that it is hard to schedule. We are so happy to get together when we do and these traditions are so special to us. So thankful to have such amazing friends that are like family to us.
