The afternoon we posed in our Christmas Eve attire for the family church service.

For the last few years we have attended the family service at 3 and the kids really enjoy it.  We sing a lot of songs and they go to front for the live retelling of Jesus' birth.  We were again invited to our dear friend's house for a tamale evening tradition where the kids even participated in a talent show for the adults.  Isabelle played "Carol of the Bells" and Allie, "The Little Drummer Boy".  Juliette decided last minute she was too embarrassed to do her "gymnastics".  We are thankful for their friendship.  We got home and Isabelle and Allie put milk, cookies and carrots out for Santa and his reindeer.  Juliette was already passed out upstairs!

The girls are waving good-bye to their elves.  This year, Charlie Jack brought two friends with him from the North Pole, "Shelbie" (Allie's elf) and "Emma" (Juliette's elf).  They rushed down every morning to see where they were.  Our elves tend to not be very mischievous and occasionally will bring a piece of candy with them.
