 The day you wanted me to follow you...as you always do.  You are a lover of life, your personality shines as bright as the afternoon sun, a smile so warm it fills my soul.  I am holding on to these sweet moments of my littlest...introducing me to the firsts of the "lasts".

 I am starting to see the beginning of your social self-awareness as you navigate 4th grade.  Your free-spirit and kindness that pour out of you is something that I hope never disappears.  I remember how awkward I felt and I am praying that you navigate these next years with grace that I didn't have.

Today was your first day of pre-k!  You were so excited and picked out a special outfit for today.  You couldn't wait to get to school to "play and get homework".  After you put your backpack and lunch bag in the cubby, you found your seat where Mrs. Jill (Allie's pre-K teacher as well) helped you start your morning work.  I know you will have a great year and learn so much and make new friends!

The girls had such a fantastic first day.  They both adore their teachers and came home so excited and ready for the next day.  I know it will be a great year when their first day was so memorable.

223.365 Indiana State Fair with friends

 One of my very best friends!  So thankful for her friendship.

 You got so attached to this little calf so quickly and cried when we had to leave!  

 The day we went to the fair with your friends that you have known since you were just babies and a tradition that we have had since then!  How we all love the fair...the fun, food (milkshakes and grill cheese in the dairy barn) and animals.  We look forward to this day every year!
