While we were eating breakfast at the hotel it was torrentially raining out and so we decided to see the Curious Kids Museum which was nearly right next door. The girls of course had such a blast here. It was small but packed with many exhibits.
We had a hard time dragging them away from the "grocery" area. :)
After the museum we felt that the weather was improving (very overcast but warmer and humid) so we went to the beach. It was a short walk down from the hotel.
The girls just love the beach, swimming, playing in the sand and splashing in the waves. This area has a swimming area and is quite shallow.

After the beach, we went to their gigantic splash pad and then back to the hotel to shower. We went to Buck's Burger and Brew (amazing) and then had some ice cream at Kilwin's. We went back to to the Lake to ride the carousel and then enjoy the amazing sunset!

I love looking at your St. Joseph pictures and seeing how much happiness it brought you family as we have such a softness in our hearts for St. Joe's. I also love your candids and just seeing the joy on the girls faces and how real life is, not every shot is a portrait waiting to be critiqued. How much I learn from you...Thanks for inspiring me to blog and to encourage that I do this for my record and noone elses.
