Labor day weekend 2011 turned out to be a fantastic time with just our little family. Jamie has been wanting to explore Michigan and being short on time we drove to New Buffalo, MI on Friday after Isabelle and Allie were done with school. It is a small city on Lake Michigan and we stayed in a hotel off the interstate. It is actually one of the first exits you get to after crossing the Indiana/ Michigan state line. On Saturday morning, we all went to the beach and the girls had an absolute blast making sand castles with Daddy, swimming and relaxing. We went back into town to eat a quick lunch and then went back to the hotel where the girls washed their sandy bodies off in the hotel swimming pool. :)
