Allie looking adorable...but you can tell not feeling the best.
on yet another antibiotic run, Allie saw these holiday dresses at Meijer and she had to have them for the Yuletide...and she literally gasped when she saw one in Juliette's size. It happens that Juliette is now in a snug 6 to 9 month. Since we had yet to get holiday dresses anyway, I let her pick these up...she was running a fever with tonsils the size of Indiana...so I gave her the go-ahead. They are just sooo cute times three!
I have been running a bit of a clinic here...Isabelle got super sick with a GI bug that night after the Yuletide and Allie was battling fevers and a nasty throat for almost a week. I am not going to say that we are healthy yet...because you know that just is an automatic jinx. I am so glad I didn't let that RN license expire.
Yuletide Celebration
Proud contractors.
It is amazing the things that you pull out of the Christmas totes...like an after Christmas deal Gingerbread house still in the box! Expiration date...not really that important...after all it is sugar...doesn't go bad right? The girls had so much fun...frosting was a little gummy...but all and all....not so bad.
yes, it was absolutely necessary for Isabelle to dress like she was going to the prom to decorate the gingerbread house.
Lesson learned.
IUPUI night at the Children's Museum
Allie and Isabelle got a chance to see Santa and tell him their wish list. Isabelle wants an American Doll (whomever put us on the mailing list for that *bleep* catalogue is on my you know what list). Allie wants a Tinkerbell playset. Isabelle was a bit intimidated by the ole Santa this year...and he isn't even creepy looking.
A ride down the Yuleslide! Allie was hysterically crying at the top..and then laughing like a maniac at the bottom.
Up to new tricks...sort of.
Why buy expensive boppies, pillows, sitting mechanisms when a good quality carpet does the trick when she falls over? I do really use pillows to support...most of the time.
Juliette can "kind of " sit up independently for seconds at a time. She also can "kind of" roll over. In the sense that she rolls from back to tummy...on to her arm...and then the shear weight of her prohibits the actual use of the arm and also makes it impossible for her to roll back over. We are on a learning curve here, people!
Putting up the Christmas tree...
Who loves the mama???
One guess.
*Disclaimer* Don't try this at home kids.
Next year, perhaps we will put on the star before the complete assembly of the 9 foot Christmas tree. Hindsight is always 20/20.
Promises of hot chocolate and tree decorating brought in my most reluctant daughters out of the snow and inside.

1st snowfall of the season
24 hours of Amoxicillin was enough to get Miss Isabelle outside enjoying the snow. Strep throat isn't enough to keep her down! It was difficult however making her come back in...she was having loads of fun...especially sledding behind our backyard with the neighbor boys, Ben and Cam. Allie had a great time too...and since she has grown a little taller, no longer gets stuck so easily in the snow. Little whiffer.

Isabelle lost her 2nd tooth! The tooth fairy is on the way!
Thanksgiving
My new "do"
My two oldest as infants didn't have the mop of hair that their littlest sister does. They think it is hilarious when I put an "up-do" in Juliette's hair. Her hair is curly when wet, so if I just put a little water on that sprig, she has a decent "fountain"...well at least for a 5 month old. Juliette loves to play with her own hair, especially while nursing and before sleep...she also likes to twirl and pull other people's hair too.

My father-in-law, Jim helped me drive back to Iowa for the funeral. I am soooo lucky to have such a wonderful and generous father in law!!!! Jamie was raised in such a good family. We shared the driving and it was fun to have someone to chat with on that long trip back. He stayed for a day when we returned to Zionsville and took him to the zoo. The girls had a great time with Grandpa!
Jim petting a shark!
Juliette is as content as can be with Grandpa Miller! She never cries when he holds her!
